N.E. Oklahoma Cubfest April 20th

farmertan, jpcubs and I met today and decided on Saturday, April 20, 2013 for our CubFest in Dewey, Ok. Hopefully all who attended last year can make it again as well as many more. Everybody is welcome. Looking forward...................

Art, last year we tried to get Gary's nephew to bring up his mid 50's lo-boy, but he couldn't. He says he plans to bring it up this year. Problem with it is, no oil pressure. They have tried to prime it but nothing. If it fits in, we'll try to get him to bring it up with us.

Will this be a one day event only? I would love to come if you would have me. I am trying to get Cubfriend to met me as well. I see Mr. Turner will be there as well, how long a drive it that for you Jim?

I'm glad to see the early interest, looking forward to seeing everyone again, as well as meeting new folks. We'll firm up on projects as we get closer.
As of right now it is scheduled for 1 day, Saturday, but Mike (farmertan), Johnny (jpcubs) and I will be there on Friday if anyone wishes to come early. Mike for sure because he lives there. We talked about a 2 day one, but decided to wait and see how much interest is shown.
Jeff, according to Bing maps it is 155 miles for Jim Turner (that is if Ed doesn't take one of his famous detours or shortcuts) and of course you are more than welcome, as well as anyone else. We'll even welcome folks from the East and West.

Art What is the chance if I can get Mark to bring the Hyd unit for his demo that we could rebuild it as a project? Then we could put it on at the KANSAS Cubfest.

Bob, we haven't started a projects list yet, but I will run it by Mike and Johnny (it's Mike's shop) shouldn't be a problem though. Would be a great project, just make sure to get the proper kit for his block and I would recommend getting a strainer screen just in case. If his doesn't need it I'm sure someone will take it off his hands.
