Joined the forum a few days ago so would like to make an introduction.
I am Charles Barnes and live just south of Elizabethtown. I bought a Cub tractor
back in the mid 60's with a belly mower and added a sickle mower a little later.
Bought and sold several different ones through the years. I now have a 1964
Cub low-boy and 2 F-Cubs, a 1952 and 1954 (the '52 I bought just before Christmas off
Craigslist) and a parts Cub. I have a sawmill here at my house that I run and sell some
lumber for a little extra income being semi-retired from paperhanging and painting.
Got to say I really didn't know there was so interest in the Cubs untill I found
this forum.
Here is a picture of my sawmill and my 135 Massey with front end loader I use to move
and load logs on the mill and a picture of my Cub hooked to my log arch. I back the arch
over a log, hook a chain low on the angled bar and when I pull away the front of the log
raises up making it easier to pull.

Welcome to the forum, By now you know this is a great group of folks, eager to answer any question that comes along. Nice looking mill set up, I reckon that makes for an enjoyable semi retirement hobby.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thanks, Barnyard, for the welcome and the e-mail welcome. I'm planning on making it to your
Barnyard Dash. And I do enjoy working with the sawmill. Been doing it for about 6 years.
(and thanks to Raymond, you posted while I was typing)

Welcome aboard Charlie. This is the best Cub website on the planet. I like the saw mill. My neighbor had one just like it. He sold it a few years ago due to his age and health. With your history with Cubs, I look forward to hearing more from you as you contribute to this site.

Welcome, Charlie. My wife and I love Kentucky; she's a quilter (Paducah) and I'm a Bluegrass fan (Rosine/Bill Monroe). We visited Elizabethtown back in 2003 on a vacation swing out to Lexington and back. Great state; would like to live there some day.
Again, welcome!

Welcome, very nice rig and set up you have, would love to see it work in person.
I think the MF 135 is the best all around tractor ever made plus they come in diesel or gas.
