After a lot of practice on shooting and safety it finally paid off this evening on the last day of season. We'd been out together about 4 different times and it seemed each time something would go wrong. I really think it was just me being in the way and wanting everything just right... This time I just handed him the gun and let him do the rest. The young doe dropped in it's tracks at 70 yards with a well placed 223 shot. One really excited little man, I'll be up early and we'll have a good meal with fresh loins and biscuts added. Pardon the decal in the back glass, it'll weather off in about 4 years.

Good job grayson, good looking doe. Be some good eats, and i like that decal, but i think we are going to get a lot of slaps in the face before it can weather off

I'd never seen anything like it before... He was on the prowl again this time, luckly this group of deer came from another direction. It'll not happen here in WVa Clint, seems everyone wants one.
