Fall Plowing Done

Postby Marion(57 Loboy) » Sun Nov 25, 2012 5:17 pm

Hey folks!
I haven't been on much due to job and home, but I did manage to get the garden plowed over for winter Friday after Thanksgiving Day.
We put lots of compost and shredded leaves on it, then I turned it over.
Maybe, just MAYBE the ground will actually freeze this winter. We had a weird one last year here in NE Ohio.

Nice looking garden. With those amendments you should have good soil to grow really tasty veggies :D

Nice! I have been trying to get the Salvation Army garden to look like that, but sorta broke the fast hitch with the harrow. Not sure how soon I can get it done, the ruts (supposed to be raised beds) are tough on the Lo Boy.
