Another 54 blade

Postby Yogie » Fri Nov 23, 2012 4:40 am

This one was in pretty rough shape to start with so some press work was needed to make a few parts straight again.
Sand blasted, new cutter edge, skids and a snow ext. added. This one will stay flat black until I've decided a color later on.

Very nice Yogie. Question ... why the black primer? Is it better than the red oxide or the gray Dura Bond Hi-Bild primer?

Rudi, it's coated well with Rustoleum primer then several coats of the same brand paint in flat black.
I just like that color, I think the Woods 42 that's next in line for rebuild will be the same color also, might look better under a red tractor than a yellow mower.
