I spoke with the gentleman (William) who owns Brown's Auto and Collision where I have been working on my tractors over the last 3 years, and he said it would be OK with him if I brought my tractor(s) in and invited some of the local NC area folks to bring theirs also. (Or you are welcome to just come and watch and help!)
It is quite a large heated shop, with air, jacks, engine hoist, press, etc. There are restaurants right down the street. Also, there is a field next door where we can park cars and trailers. Bathrooms, so no need to have a port-a-potty, and water to wash up (us and the tractors). Might even be able to do some painting if planned in advance.
He said the field next door is used during December to sell Christmas trees, so I was thinking sometime in January...maybe Jan 12, 2013? If you are interested in coming, let me know so I can work on this. There are a lot of folks in the immediate area that I know I haven't met yet, & a few I have. This would be a good time to meet each other & get ready for spring!
