Thanks to Pris and Cecil for being such great hosts. Specific thanks to Cecil and Art for taking the time to walk me through the repair of my transmission. It was also great to meet old friends, make new ones, and to put faces to names. Lastly, thanks to all those who helped me split and reassemble my cub. It was a project I never would have been able to take on alone. I'm just a bit surprised however I haven't seen any pictures of the "nesting project" we found in my clutch housing. People were fighting for position to get a better picture. It was a great example of why you always keep the clutch inspection cover in place. Again, thank you everyone.

Thanks for opening up your home once again. It sure was nice to take a day off and chat with friends and meet new ones.

Wish I could have stayed longer.

Yes, that was great of them to have put on another great cubfest. My friend Patrick drove me up and was impressed by your carb knowledge Don and with Bob's float gauge, knowledge and overall helpfulness. I had a feeling he would be impressed, Scot Lem definately made a huge impression when he jumped right on my TC unit problem. Great hosts and a great bunch of folks! Good to finally meet Rudi and Berlin, also!

Sue and I would also like to thank Cecil and Pris for a fun weekend. We took a detour to Plymouth to have a lobster and spend a day with Sue's aunt. Just got home from the airport a little while ago. The food at the Cubfest was great, the company was great and I think most of the projects got done.

Thanks again, Bob

Just wanted to thank you Cecil for hosting this past weekend Cubfest, this was my first time attending. The moment I walked in, Brad was right there, gave me a welcome, asked me if I had ever attended a cub fest, I said "first one" he welcomed me again, and brought me in to see the various projects going on. Next thing I know, I'm helping Gary P unbolt his tranny :D ....

Great fun, learned many things, was very welcomed, got to say, I laughed alot....I didn't get to meet everyone, and there was alot going on, but I would like to say thank you again for the welcome to Cecil, Brad, Art C, Ed, Gary P, Connor, Greg, Gary P and (the guy with the Airforce hat). I know there were others, but I just didn't get all of your names. I really look forward to the next one, hope to be able to stay longer and meet more of you.

Best,
Gary N.

Cecil and Pris are great hosts and fantastic friends. Em and I enjoyed this one immensely and we had a great time. It was far too long between visits but that pretty much will be the end of that. We will be going back again next year according to the boss lady  Got all of my projects either completed or at least to the point where they can be finalized at home. I have to thank Gary Post for helping me tear apart my Belt Pulley Gear Drive unit - a couple  moments but with Scot's help all is perfect. Larry and I had fun with those drives - it made for a great time :D Andy got me involved a bit with his front wheel bearing project on the Museum Cub and I sure enjoyed that. Learned a lot especially since I gotta do that to Granny next. Cecil did his magic on a pair of my carbs and I finally learned how to to the fuel inlet helicoil - thanks Cecil :D

Finally got to meet Ed, Berlin and Paula, Bill and Cynthia Shaver, Dave and Tim Stephens, Gary Post, hishonor Andrew, Mike, Joe, Tim and Kate, Brad, Connor, Bob Melusky, Rob and Rich. I am sure that there are some that I missed - but my rememberer isn't what it used to be. Being able to visit with old friends and their wives was a treat as well, Bob and Sue, Art and Katherine, Don and Debbie, Bill Hudson and I am sure I missed a few here too.

We got home about 1230am last night after stopping in Kittery over night Tuesday. Got a second quick visit with Hope and Katherine and Dave Sr. Jr. was still working. Going to have to go back shortly though which is fine by me :D

Only downer about the whole trip was bringing home a cold -- customs asked if there was anything I wanted to declare - but I figured I better not mention the cold - they might put me in isolation  Crossing the border went well, asked a couple questions and said welcome home :{_}:

What a great trip :D

Rudi you should have said to the customs the same as Oscar Wilde said when he was visiting USA. When customs him if he had anything to declare he replied "nothing only my Genius"
