The beans are cut and the cover crop is planted. The fields are ready for winter.

I'm at Stonethrow, but Sue said there was enough snow last night to cover the ground.

This winter's wood is in the basement, all of next winter's wood is cut and out of the bush - we are cutting it to furnace size tomorrow. Got 11 cords to cut and some to split, but should be done if not this weekend then the weekend following CubFest Northeast. We will be snug like bugs in a rug this winter. The bathroom repair/reno is going well... not cheap.. but going well. Life is good. :D

Gas, well that just hit $5.65/US Gallon for supreme which is what the Honda drinks. Good thing that puppy gets awesome mileage

I have to re roof two parts of my roof for solar panels which will be up there for 20 years, am painting the house, re doing clapboard and putting in new windows, a bulk head, build shed doors and still have to turn over the pumpkin patch...with a broken arm and lots of helpers. I have corn that will be ready in a few days. Then winter rye. Winter better not show up anytime soon! :(
