I didn't check the rain gauge yet, but I suspect we got a similar amount. We had some wind but no damage.

Only .9 Sat and so far today, no storms damage though. I understand they did have some in Washington Mo. where the Town and Country Fair is currently going on. we only had 1.5 for June and July combined.

We were supposed to get a lot of wind and rain yesterday and today. So far all we got was high 80's - low 90's temps and not a drop of rain. Makes working out side miserable. If this keeps up I may want my office job back.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

No rain here since the end of April. Everyone around us has gotten a little, but with the triple digits it just burns off. May have to sell cattle, we have half the hay we normally do and not a blade of grass in the pastures.

Got 5 inches, Friday night, and some wind damage, in the corn. Wish I could send some, to the dry areas! Ed

Farmers here were considering cutting corn for silage and then adding protien when using it. Beans in field next to me now have a few beans but yield will be way down. One dairy producer - several hundred cows - said he expected to wind up with only 75% of what feed he needed. Low producers will probably become hamburger. We started getting rain in measurable amounts last friday. Temps last couple days below normal and I love it. Vern

1.5 inches fell, in the past 2 hours! Not really needed, after Friday's 5 inches. Wish I could send some of it, south and west! Ed
Rain stopped, around 11 am, Total 1.75 inches.
