Re: Doc Watson Passed Away
I watched him sat.nite on song of the mountains it's taped at the restored Lincoln theathre in Marion,VA and shown on PBS i assume it was taped last year and i could tell he was slowing down on his picking but to even play at 89 years old is wonderful Doc,Earl Scruggs and Ricky Scaggs made a CD The Three Pickers in Winston Salem,NC a few years back on Sat nite and we had an ice storm and the place was still packed like Earl he will be missed.

I have the Three Pickers--one of my all-time favorites. Also one with Doc, Mac Wiseman and Del McCoury--super!!
Didn't know if there were any Doc fans on here or not, so posted it anyway.
