IH's are RED. Just say NO to yellow and white! Let us pray for farmers and all who prepare the soil for planting, that the seeds they sow may lead to a bountiful harvest.

Yes it's one of the last ones. Notice the different steering wheel and the spin-on oil filter. It is just as it appeared fresh on the dealer's lot--never been in the field. Al "12 volt conversions are for quitters"

In that thread someone mentioned a Cub that was crated and new. Anyone know anything about that?

I wonder if they didn't mean a Cub Cadet. Cub tractors didn't come in crates, at least not in the US as far as I know... Al "12 volt conversions are for quitters"

I have a friend who bought a Copar Panzer garden tractor from the 40's that was new in the wood crate. He found it in an old dealership somewhere, it'd never been used.

Re: Want to see a NOS Farmall 140?Found this old thread while searching for something else. The link to the pics is still good, figured others might enjoy it. Never know what is out there in those barns and sheds!

Re: Want to see a NOS Farmall 140?Thanks AL !! I am really glad you brought this link back up. I am finishing a Farmall 140 restoration right now and about to start on another one (late 1975 model).
Boy if I could get my hands on one like that......It'd be a keeper for sure and might just have to build an enclosed garage just for it!
Re: Want to see a NOS Farmall 140?To me, and this is just one dude's opinion, but it seems a shame to just see it sitting there collecting dust. My take on older tractors is just like classic cars. What is the point of owning one if you are not going to use it?
Re: Want to see a NOS Farmall 140?
There is a BIG part of me that agrees with you. I probably couldn't stand it--would eventually have to use it! On the other hand, there will never, ever, ever be another new one. When I get a toy tractor model, I don't leave it in the box either! Al "12 volt conversions are for quitters"
