i pad equatible settlement

Postby DanR » Fri Jan 27, 2012 8:10 am

Another 3 hours on the phone with Apple. This time they did an online diagnostic using the PC. Something must have been found because they said Fed Ex would deliver a return box the same day. Apple would not reveal what they found. Got a call last night from Fed Ex saying a package would be delivered today and had to be signed for. I'll see what happens with this one. On the positive side all the people I talked to spoke perfect English and were highly trained that was obvious. This might be a first in the high tech industry.

Dan, is Apple replacing your iPad? Hope you have better luck with this one!

I won't know until it gets here. Apple was very vague on this.

Got the I pad. Form letter everything met Apples specs etc. The s/n is the same but the case is different. There are some changes to the software but so for looks. Like. It was just streamlined. Can't beat the turn around time. I'm optimistic.

I'm not optimistic anymore. It took a technician, a supervisor, the supervisor's supervisor nearly three hours to figure how to change the language from Spanish to English. Geez!
