Live at DSCF! Test Part 2!

Postby Barnyard » Sat Jan 21, 2012 9:45 pm

Okay, I now have a new camera with a 15 foot cable and a new microphone with a 9 foot cord for the live broadcast from DSCF. I will be doing some outdoor testing of the video tomorrow (Sunday Jan 22) at 2 PM to see how it goes outside. If you want to join in be sure you have an account by going to http://www.justin.tv and registering. Then at 2:00 pm you can go to http://www.justin.tv/barnyard. That will put you on line to watch and send online text messages. You may be asked for an access code. if so, type in Farmall with an upper case F. That should do it. If you have any questions I will try to answer them prior to the test.

I have been asked if anyone could join in. Yes, please do! The only way to know if this is working is if somebody is out there recieving it and responding back. If this works tomorrow we will be 75% on the way to having DSCF live for those at home who can't be there.

I have been getting responses from justin.tv saying we have more followers. If enough sign on today It looks like we will have a good test. My only concern is my connection. It may slow down the video and not keep the audio in sync. That would be like watching the old Godzilla movies where you saw the woman scream be you heard her.

Dan, we had Rick Spivey, Bigdog, Winfield Dave and Rob in NH on. It went pretty good so I think we are ready to go with it at DSCF.

Barnyard, I missed this one too. Had company and couldn't figure out away to politely tune him out while I turned you in, but sorry I missed it, cause it is always a challenge to get a reception in Arkansas. (Not really)
When I logged on the picture was on, but will catch you on the tube next time.
