While clearing the driveway with my QA-42, the auger slid to the right knocking off the drive chain from its sprocket. Also, I noticed the auger shaft is about an inch past the face of the right side bearing, and flush with the left side bearing. I searched the internet and the only thing I could determine is the set screws in the bearings loosened up causing the auger shaft to slip. I am not sure if this is right, any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Phil

Re: QA-42 auger problem
Problem solved; I found that one of the bearing's set screw had backed out causing the auger to shift to the right. I loosened the remaining set screw, recentered the auger, replaced and tightened both set screws and it works perfectly!
