It's not a two-way verbal chat. Your input is through the text box.

Worked very well Bill, sorry to say but I'm probably one of those who will be enjoying this feature from home.

That was interesting, had no problems on my end. I think it will be great if you can find a way to keep the Wes's out.

Fortunately I have control of the bye-bye button and banned Wes before he got to carried away. I'm not sure how he got in without knowing the access code. I need to do a little research.

Thanks to all who took part. It looks like we will be able to bring DSCF right into your home so you can experience it as it happens. The next test will be on a Saturday or Sunday outside to see how it goes with daylight. I will have a remote camera by then and may try another microphone. I will let you all know when that happens.

Will it be OK if I forego the live link and just enjoy it in person? :D

Sure, It will be good to see you again. If everybody would show up I wouldn't have to mess with the computer.

Due to technical difficulties, the outside testing planned for this weekend will be delayed. The anticipated wireless camera is too hi-tech for the laptop that will be used at DSCF. My old free standing cam is just not up to the task anymore either. So, sometime next week I will be scouting the Micro Center across town for something that should fill the bill. As soon as I get it together I will let you know. Besides, the weather is supposed to be warmer next week. :D

Finally was able to log on... a little on the very late side, but got the problem solved. Problem is Opera ... Justin likes IE8 doesn't like Opera at all.
