PurolatorThe oil filter L30010 does not come with a gasket. Auto parts store where I bought it has no listing for the gasket. Called Purolator and they said it was not available. I'll go to NAPA next time their filter does come with a gasket.

Re: PurolatorWix filters also include the gasket. The NAPA filter is made by Wix.

Re: PurolatorI use purolator filters most of the time, a lot less expensive than NAPA or Wix. Purolator # L20009 is the Cub filter which includes the gasket. After reading this thread I ran out to the shop & checked, I have 2 of them & both have the gasket included.
Re: PurolatorGary, you are correct the Cub filter does come with the gasket. I ask purolator about this and he said I dunno.

Re: PurolatorI went to the Purolator site http://www.purolatorautofilters.net/Pages/home.aspx and tried both numbers, and neither one got a hit. I wonder if they have been discontinued and you are living on what is left over stock?

Re: PurolatorI went to the Purolator site and put the IH nymber in the cross reference. It came back with the L20009 number.

Re: PurolatorI just got 2 of them back in the spring, I'd guess the number is still good.
