Found at Stonethrow

Postby Kodiak » Wed Oct 05, 2011 9:01 am

Still looking around the shop and doing the final straighting and cleaning up. I have found so far a pair of Vise Grips with yellow tape on the handle and a really nice Burgandy colored chair in a carrying case. If eith one of these items are yours let me know and we can work out the details of getting it back to you. If your missing anything let me know and I'll look around for it.

Thanks
Ron
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Hey Ron,

The only thing I know I'm missing is a 1/2" flat gear wrench--if it turns up just holler.

Thanks again for a great weekend! I think I'm just now getting rested up! LOL

Charles
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

Ron, I think i left an oil seal(in the box) next to the coffee pot area. I was checking to see if it was the right one for Dirtyred's distributor/govener one, and forgot it when I picked up my stuff.

Ron, that yellow tape leads me to believe the vise-grips are most likely John Crenshaw's.

Dave - I can tell you that more stuff walks away than gets left behind.

I'll be in touch with John C and see if the yellow labeled tool is his, that would be a close by return :!:
In 6 years of doing this Cubfest I can say I have only lost a few wrenches and those were at the early Stonethrows. Most guys know that I have most all the tools they will need and some extras and as a result they usually don't bring many tools. Maybe some special ones but not that many. I think this helps because it is very easy to get pliers, wrenches and screwdrivers mixed up with your own tools and takes for ever to figure out that you have and extra Craftsman 1/2" combo just like the one you already had
I think I still have Regg's flashlight from last year need to check on the fridge and see.....Regg did you get it ???
