Thursday Evening at Stonethrow Vl

Postby Kodiak » Fri Sep 23, 2011 7:53 pm

For those of you who may arrive a bit early on Thursday be sure and come on over to the shop, we may head out around 6:00 / 6:30 ish (pm) and check out
The Maysville Saloon and see what kind of wings, steak, and burgers they have  If you like wings they have some good ones (I tested them :D )

See ya next Thursday evening :{_}:

Ron
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

How early is "early"? Rosie and I plan to be in Commerce late Wednesday night. We can be at the shop anytime Tursday to help set up. Steak and wings and burgers sound good to me. That should hold me over for the night.

Ron,

I've got a big deadline at work on Thursday, but will be getting the pork started at home. Picked up two 15-pounders this evening at our fire station...their annual bbq sale is this Saturday, so I just got them to order me a few extra!

Corky
I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

You better have a better plan this year. Your plan to foil me hasn't worked the last couple of years. besides, I have already mapped out my stops while I'm there.

I'm coming down with two Cubs but one is staying. That leaves a lot of room to haul goodies home on that new and bigger trailer I got last winter. :D

Bill, if I hadn't come down myself last year to haul that loader home you wouldn't have been able to buy so much.

Yes, that is why I never tell anybody what I'm buying until it is on my trailer. :) Btw, did you ever check out that Cub I passed on last year? I left it for you to haul home.
