August minifest

Postby Cecil » Mon Jun 20, 2011 6:56 pm

This is the official announcement that we will be holding the August minifest on the 20th. Now there is a twist this year. In conjunction with the minifest Kristina (the oldest daughter) is throwing a retirement party for Pris and I that afternoon. It's a suprise for Pris. My intentions are to have the minifest with a lunch about noon or so and then the party will start about 3 or 4. Anyone who attends the minifest is more that welcome to stay for the party. Because so many of our friends are members of the board I felt that I could not ask them to travel to attend a minifest on one weekend and then come another for the party. This year I will have to know how many will be here so that I can let Kris know. So plan on bringing your spouces or significant others.

Lauren and I will be there for the fest and the party. Let me know if there is a specific dish you would like us to bring.

All the food will be provided. Of course if Lauren wants to make one of her deserts I bet I can eat it.

I'm sure that I"ll be there. Can't say if Cathy or JJ will be accompanying me at this time but I'll keep you informed as time grows closer.

As of right now I plan on being there. I was going to get some donuts but sure if Ed deserves any, of course I wouldn't want to punish the rest.

Bring donuts! I'll be good. Had a few more classes in puppy obedience school. (Several were cancelled, due to heat) My wife is coming, too, so I HAVE TO behave. Ed

Cecil,

Count me in, although I'm not eating much these days. More donuts for Ed that way. :) :)

One of these days I'm gonna surprise you and be there. With three Cubfests a year you'd think I could work one of these into my schedule.

I have a set of rear weights in Savoy MA that Bill Hudson has volunteered to bring back to Ohio if they can find their way to Cecil's. Any help moving them will be greatly appreciated.

Have fun guys, I will be volunteering my time in an abondoned gravel pit for most of the month.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.
