Dennis, in all fairness to your efforts and this new format, maybe we should wait a few days to see how this works out before jumping off the edge. For most people, anything new is not as good as what is old and familiar. Like most people, I am more comfortable with the old format, but maybe in a few days with this one, I'll like it as well.

Lets encourage everyone to come on over to this board. I notice the old board is getting more post than this one right now. I belive given a choice they will stay over there. I'm looking forward to Mr. Willer's opinion. He seems to always have a very good one in my opinion.

This could take some getting used to but I think the other is much easier to use But we'll give it a try.

New format

Postby rocketman » Sun Feb 02, 2003 8:39 pm

Dennis,

I think we all appreciate your efforts and understand how much time you have put into the old one recently. Creatures of habit we are so I think most like the old format.

I agree with what was said earlier; give it some time but the final decision is yours.

My only comment is on the yellar background. How about a tone of IH red instead like the old board. Is that possible?

Thanks for your work.

In my opinion there is no sense in trying to stay with an overcrowded obsolite board, there will only continue to be problems. Like trying to have a family of 6....with only one bathroom! This is not "Rocket Science", ...I think all can adapt if they give it a try.
Just my opinion!,

Dennis:

I kinda like the new format :D
Certainly like the emoticons, won't take too long to get used to it either. I liked the old board, still do escpecially how the messages are viewed, but after playing with this for a bit, it is really beginning to grow on me.

Keep up the good work, we would be lost without you ! :D

New Format

Postby Jeff Schaefer » Sun Feb 02, 2003 11:21 pm

It's taking some time to get used to but it isn't going to be that tough to grasp. I am partial to the old board at this time because it's pretty quick to scan items. Having said that it is still up to the man who maintains this board in my opinion, who puts all the time into it to do what's best to keep it up and running smoothl. Pretty impressive really!
