Ingredient list:
2 or 3 lbs of deer sausage, 2009, found in the bottom of the freezer during clean out. This morning.
1 can cheap beer. Not the quality sipping type. Just the cheap stuff.
4 cans of chili beans, 89 cents a can.
1 large onion, chopped.
1 quart can of prepared chili. Hormel if you are looking for a quality name.
Any single cans of beans and or dried peas in the pantry. In this instance it was a single can of carbanzo beans and some yellow dried peas.
Throw everything in a 6 quart crock pot and cook on high for 6 or 8 hours. Stir occasionally.
Sample. Adjust taste by adding chili powder. Add a bit more chili powder.
Wait. Burp test. Adjust spices to one’s tolerance level.
