cub implement part? ID

Postby Kirk-NJ » Tue May 17, 2011 6:15 am

Cleaning out a friends barn. Is this a cub part? Kind of hard to see. It's sitting on top of an old running gear frame. His uncle had cubs and a super A and a C. Just trying to figure out what is what.
Thanks

I think it's a rear cultivator section off a C or bigger.

Yeah. C, H and M. The U shape in the shaft was to clear the PTO shield. The short tubes are for the lift arms that run forward to the lift cylinders which were on the sides of the engine. As memory best serves me but it has been over 50 years since I mounted one. Vern

I'm thinkin bigger. At least a C or H or even an M.They may have all been the same. But thats defineatly a rear culitavtor section and I do remember that rear loop.

My vote, Super C. We had one like that on Granddads farm.

Thank for the replies. I didn't see anything in the cub manual section that came close.
