hello everybody
Hello my name is Clint, I am in high point NC & am new to the web site, glad to be here. I have 1 1978 cub that i bought to replace my dads farmall 140, because it was just to big for were we farm. We only do about an acre field anymore. I have an 8N & Jubilee also. All i need is 1 Cub but for some reason I wanted to find another, so now i have 2 cubs one 78 & one 53. Well a week that i ran across one at a good dill and could not pass it up so now i have 3 cubs one 78 one 53 & one 48 & all kinds of equipment. I dont know, dose that make me a collector? My wife is getting a little up set with me cause our back yard is full of tractors and equipment and i keep making up excuses to explan why I have all of these tractors, but i am running out of good ones. My dad and I have restored an 8n and now we are working on one of the cubs. I enjoy welding, so i have made some one point carry alls that look just like the IH carry all. I bought a 186 planter and the knife was wore out so i made some of those. The thing is if your going to make one of anything it is just to easy to make ten. Well that's the low down on me.
Thanks
Clint
Thanks
Clint
Have A Nice Day!

Welcome, Clint. I don't think your activities make you a collector. But, it does make you an accumulator.

You shouldn't have to make up excuses. If you know why you have them, then tell the wife and be done with it and you won't run out of reasons. If I decide to buy a Cub I just tell my wife I found a good deal on one and we go get it.
Welcome to the group.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Re: hello everybody
Too many is relative.... means you can share em with your relatives .
I think they are a good reason not to have cable TV, spend time doing something useful and meet some great folks.
Welcome!
