Introduce myself

Postby eagleowl » Sun Jan 30, 2011 11:00 pm

Hello to all Farmall Cub members.
I recently moved from my beloved state of Pennsylvania in Oct. 2009 to the beautiful and scenic state of Colorado. We live in a very small village just off of Interstate 25 between Denver and Colorado Springs. Our total population is 250 people. My wife and I love it here as we are living exactly between our two daughters. I talked my wife into allowing me to bring my 1947 Farmall Cub from our 7 acre farmette in Northwestern, Pa.. I really miss the 165 inches of snow we experienced each year and the seven months of winter that stretched from Oct. to April ( if you believe that then you must be alot older then I am). Anyway, I had to use the plow on my tractor the first day I arrived so I could put the tractor into the storage area. So I offer a hearty greeting to one and all. Ed in Colorado.

Ed, welcome to the forum. I'm sure you will be glad you took the Cub along for the ride west. I notice from your other posts that you know of Bob McCarty in Longmont. He is a wealth of info and will be very helpful to you.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Ed, I never did hear if your friend was able to get the bugs worked out of your Cub. Plan on coming to my Cubfest the weekend of Aug. 20th.
