Another Carryall

Postby Winfield Dave » Sat Dec 18, 2010 6:47 pm

Santa delivered my new camera yesterday, so I was finally able to get some pics of my new carryall...
Similar to Sgt Bull's...
The only thing I had to buy was the carriage bolts for the 2x's...

Jeremy...you're always welcome...just let me know, the soup will be on !!
The dimensions are close to Kelley's Building a carrier - step by step w/ pics
...just a little different on the mount.
Would be glad to post them if anybody wants them.

You build that one Dave? Looks good. I was wondering about the mounting holes on the top link. Are there multiple holes to accomadate something in particular? (always looking for a good idea to copy and use myself!)
I've never met a tractor I didn't like....but I have found some that were greatly annoying....

Actually, it was a mistake...the first piece i put on was the bottom angle...it did not allow the carrier to lower down close enough to the ground...so I welded another angle on top and while I was drilling holes, just drilled 2.

Never hurts to have too many holes. When you might need them, they're already there.
