Dan, I have an H with shutters. Do you know if the linkage is similar? If so, I'll be happy to get you some pictures of that.

I think I have it figured out. Problem was every piece is bent, broken, or modified. This application is not typical IH. Things like cotter pins backwards and moving the water pump because one piece is 1/8" too long. Must have been engineered by someone from the other side.

Thanks Phil, I'm going to make a new long rod today. The old one has too many bends to be straightened properly. I'll know better after I get that in.

Just a heads up it has a drop of 3 inches and an offset of 1 inch.
5/16 rod
The travel for the threads is 3/4 inch to open and shut the shutters.
Things i have found to make the new offset rod that attaches to the crank
