Perry Mini CubFest ~ Dartmouth MA

My father's address is:

470 Bakerville Road
Dartmouth, MA 02748

There is plenty of room for a few cubs and lots of projects inside of the shop and there is spillover room inside of the adjacent barn.

So far, there are two touch control units to rebuild, a clutch to repair, and a broken bolt to remove from a radiator housing.

Greg has two projects but I don't what they are. I do want to try and swap out the short shaft and maybe put the engine in. whoa boy, it is a carcass right now not much on ole' Rusty.

I will be there, I will try to break something before I come so that I have something to work on.

Bob, haven't you rebroken the flail mower, yet? Ed

Well it still cuts grass but I am missing a row of blades now so it leaves stripes on the lawn. I cut for two day in Maine and hit a lot of rocks and other things.
It needs a tune up.

I expected it to be more broke than that, by now! Ed

Bob...do you need any blades? Ted's in Fairhaven has them in stock I believe.

Chris
I have a bag of them so I don't think I need anymore at this point.

Thanks anyway.

How did they go missing??? In hours and hours of pretty rough mowing I am missing one pair of knives.

I will probably bring along the stray 'front end' I have. Need to get the shroud, 'bent' radiator and steering gear apart. The bolster is going on the 64 that's been repaired. I will drag along a couple of carbs too... one needs to be flattened and the other just needs the kit installed.

Larry he runs over porcupines on purpose. :D

I have shot 5 porcupines this year but 0 got mowed over. I might bring the mower with me. I had some realy high weeds and I could not see the bolders.
I worked the mower hard for two days.

I guess that means I had better bring my carb box.

Looks like a few carb rebuilds, Wally and Larry being rebuilding carbs. I'm considering doing one but might have too much on my plate. Cecil could you pick me up a kit at Columbia Tractor? Are they still $75 or so?

Wally will be bringing the cloth wiring harness he made, with enough extra wiring and connectors to show the folks how to make another harness.

Two TC units rebuilds are still onboard. Looks like Bob's shop should have alot of activity.

Chris I have a spare TM kit for $46 if you would rather have that. A lot more stuff and cheaper. Only difference is the needle valve.

Sounds good, thank you! You bringing a tractor down?

Less than a week to go for the minifest. :D

I am finishing a woodworking project so that the workshop will be all clear for cub projects. Also today I will be splitting my cub so that we're ready to work on the clutch.

BobinCT copied the latest cub manual file for me at Cecil's and if anyone would like a copy please bring a 2 gb thumb drive on Saturday.

Chris I am bringing Ugly Cub down to Ed's to cut some wood with the Brookfield. If you guys would like I could probably bring it with me. Got any wood to cut?
Chris I will bring the kit with me.

I have another person coming, with a cub, who needs points and condenser installed in his mag. Cecil has been volunteered to assist him. Name is Ross MacVicar, from Plymouth, Ma. Met him at a small show we did, at a Lions club festival, on Sunday. Another SouthEastern Massachusetts cubber! Ed
