Dag! I love DC4 its one of the graetest things known to man! I use it on my spin on oil filter rubber gaskets. It is generally not fuel/oil soluble, so dont get too much on the gasket. At any rate, solvents like acetone or isopropyl alcohol should take it off. We use the stuff on planes alot. There is also a thicker version called DC111. I love that too!

Ya know its taken a number of years but some common aviation products are starting to show in everyday life. Another product that we use much of for general oil lube is LPS stuff. Comes in 1,2,or3. Good stuff also.

Sure enough, LPS, ACF 50 is showing up now. I was watching a truck show and the guy was marveling over AN fittings for fluid lines. Hell, I know the racres use them, but they have been on planes forever! Well, a little less than 100 years anyway. Another product you see is Lubriplate stuff. I cant think of any more, but I know there is a bunch more.
