Re: PhotoHost
Image size needs to be scaled back. There are usually settings on the camera for photo quality, but I take my photos with a high resolution setting and then scale them down if I need to. What programs do you have to open picture files? You need one with photo edit tools and then you can "resize" or "compress" the image. I drop mine down to somewhere around 440x340 pixels and they load with no problem and they are big enough to be seen on the screen. You don't want them too big or you can't load them as you found out and eventually you will run out of space and have to start deleting pictures to add more in the future.
My avatar is 56x 79. They have size limits too.

Re: PhotoHost
FB takes just about any size photo but I think they have a way of reducing them in size to limit space on the server. I don't know how we can get all that space for free.
