Guys Ask Your Wives

Postby Wise Owl » Sat Jan 29, 2005 7:01 pm

Hey Y'all,

I am Rudi's wife and I would like to get a forum topic openned to capture the interests of the wives and get some sharing of information going.

Can you ask your wives if they would be interested in recipe sharing. Maybe sharing whatever topic they feel is enjoyable to them, and others might be interested in them as well. Maybe sharing craft ideas. If any of them are like me they love to show off a new project or share a new recipe that is absolutely scrumptious. Problem solving in household areas as well could be an idea.

There could be a lot in it for you guy as your gals start making new friends from the cub forum!!!! Might increase the interests in meeting at cubaramas, cubfest, and other tractor functions.

Maybe you guys would like to share recipes too!!! Rudi has a few real good ones.

I hope I get some response from you guys and your gals as well.

Emilie

P.S.: Wives can get their own username as well. Get their own identity and therefore, easier to identify when online.

I asked my wife, Kacy, and she said it sounded like a good idea to her. She would gladly participate. 8)

Emilie: My wife, Janie, loves to cook and is an excellent cook. She has collected cook books for years and has had time to test lots of recipes following our retirement. She has approximately one-hundred cook books and is always looking for new and different ones. She wishes to get involved in sharing of recipes. I can't contribute. I do an excellent job of eating but am a lousy cook. Dan

You sure you're not just trying to start a support group for Cub widows (a lot like football widows, but with no off season)?

These buttermilk griddle cakes are light and fluffy, and go down so easy with butter and syrup before a big day on the tractor. :D :D :D

Wise Owl - I guess I will have to show the Bossdog how to use the forum. But she is eager to participate. She is a good cook as can be evidenced by my physique.

Rudi is doing fine. I am just keeping him occupied. He might be on later or tomorrow. He is trying to rebuild some computers for the kids. Keeping his mind busy is very good you know.

Hi Emilie, I told my girlfriend Fleurette about your idea and she is very interested. She is an avid collector of cookbooks and recipes. And I sure cant complain about her cooking.

Hey Em, most excellent idea.

I will have to pry Mary away from her Yahoo games and while and show her that there is a LOT more to the internet then them thar krazy games of hers.

We ALL might just learn something new too.

Just chatting with Rudi on YIM and he said he was working on those computers, sounds like your doing a mighty fine job keeping him away from them Cubs and keeping him from over-doing things. I just wish Rudi had his antenna array in good shape, that way we could meet up with with one another somewhere on the air ways

Keep up the good work Em on this good idea and keep Rudi's mind busy and out of the shop.

Take care and we will be watching these new post.

Hey Em,

I asked my xyl, Martha, and she indicated that she would be very interested in swapping cooking recipes. She has collected many
cookbooks over the years. She is the only person I know of that
actually reads them as most people read novels.

I even have a recipe for "Redeye Gravy"-get the connection!!

I know some on here that give a recipe for "snow pusher pie"

Tell Rudi hello!!!
