I am not familiar with a 383 Hydro....it must have been made by the Cub Cadet, Corp.

You are correct Bud, it was built by CCC from 82-84. It is a Cadet lawn tractor, and not a Cub Cadet garden tractor. It has vertical shaft B&S engine, and is belt drive to a Peerless transaxle. It is the same basic lawntractor as the 76, Spirit od 76, 80, 81, 111, 382 ect.
