Any news on Mr. Willer?

Postby Hengy » Tue Aug 25, 2009 8:23 am

Good morning, all!

Just wondering if anyone had heard any further updates on George Willer? I know that when I last heard, he was improving and on his way to what he hoped was the last surgery he would need, but that was a while ago now...

Just hoping and wishing the best for him...

Mike, I was thinking about him as well. I think the last thing I read was when Bigdog & Rick were up there with the award. Hopefully, things are great with him.

Guys - I don't have a whole lot of new information to post. George continues to progress slowly. Any additional surgery is going to be quite a way down the road as he is not well enough and the doctors are looking at the first of next year as the earliest that they will consider any additional intervention. George is taking physical therapy to help build his strength.
I hesitate to bother Marilyn as I know she has enough on her plate as it is. But I will try to get occasional updates.

Remember - anyone who is near the Fremont area that George appreciates visits from cub friends.
