Prayer Request for Ron Whiting's Mom

Postby Corky's Cub » Wed Jul 08, 2009 8:54 pm

Hey folks,

I wanted to ask each of you to say a special prayer tonight for Ron Whiting's mom. I called Ron tonight to catch up from the holiday, and Paula shared that his mother was diagnosed last week with an inoperable brain tumor that may be her final illness. Our prayers should be for divine providence.

For now Ron is staying close with his Mother and Dad, while Paula is working to help the rest of the family stay strong and positive. All our prayers will be helpful as they move through this difficult and painful time.

Thanks to all,

Charles

I found this old Cub, Forgotten and Forlorn,
With pistons and valves frozen and worn.
Help from my buddies on Farmallcub.com,
And an engine from Ralph, (37’s the one),
Now ole Corky is running and back to life,
Much to the surprise of my dear, dear wife!

As always Prayers are offered from Rosie and me. Stay strong Ron.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

Thank you all for your current prayers and the one's we will need in the near future. My Mom is now at home and resting as best she can. Hospice is helping my Dad and us make her as comfortable as possible under the difficult circumstances she and all of the family has to deal with. Please continue to lift her and my Dad up in your prayers as we try in our limited capacity see God's larger picture. He is in control and without him to lean on and have comfort in we would have never made it this far. He will see us all through this and give us the strength to deal with all that will come our way.

Ron & Paula Whiting
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.
