Joann and I were married at the Church of Christ in Swifton, Ar. It took 2 preachers to get it done, one from the Church of Christ where Joann had lived most of her life, and one from The Independent Christian Church where I had gone most of my life. I still haven't figured out how to get out of that. Things haven't always been easy, but they always worked out. Even when things were hard and we were having disagreements, sometimes pretty severe ones, we still cared for each other and worried about each other. The biggest change I would make in life life if I could go back and do things over would be to ask her to marry me sooner than I did. We dated for 2 years before getting married, and my biggest mistake was waiting so long to ask her to marry me. Note, to people of my age, dating means going on dates, not living together or shacking up together. Some people did do that, but it wasn't generally accepted as it is now. Marriages don't seem to last as long now as they did then either. With my round on the soapbox being done, I can safely say that I am more in love with my wife now than I was when we got married.

you are part of the problem!!!

Congratulations Mr. John & Mrs. Joann!!!! I "kicked the tires" on and off for 10 years before I asked my wife to marry me. Lucky for me, several states away and 10 years later she was still willing to give a knuckle head like me a go at it!!! Hope you guys have many, many more anniversaries to celebrate!!!!
