Update on David Bennett

Postby Bigdog » Mon Jan 12, 2009 11:05 am

David had gall bladder surgery either last night or this morning. He is still in the hospital but at least things are under control.

Thanks BigDog. I was wondering why he was supposed to wait till today to see his Dr if the Gall Bladder was the problem. Hopefully he will be back to his old self shortly. Grump

David, we all hope to see you back soon.
There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

A funny thing happened this morning. I called David on line 1 while he called me on line 2 at the same time and we had 4 phones tied up.
He was still groggy from the operation but sounded better than he did all weekend that's for sure...
I've called back and left a message for him to have his wife call one of us to let us know how he's doing.
Sure gave me a scare when I talked with him Friday.

Hope you get well soon David, you got to be feeling better now. Just follow the Doc's orders and you'll be out in the garden before you know it.

Hi again everyone, I spoke to Dave again this morning and he's still pretty woozy from all the medication.
He says to tell everyone hi, and thanks for thinking of him.
He also said he still feels like he's a goner but the doctors say he'll be okay soon.
I'll let you know more as we talk later...
