Well, I used the board's tips and got the hood off this past weekend. I got the generator belt changed, along with the spark plugs and some other lubrication. I also repacked the front wheel bearings.
Is there a secret to getting the fan belt tension correct? It took me a while, but I think I finally got it right. I wish there was an adjusting bolt to screw in/out for more or less tension?
Anyway, its done and I cut grass afterwards and everything worked fine. Thanks for the help.
