Postby Mark Gough » Mon Aug 09, 2004 8:23 am

I'm looking for the belt numbers for both belts on my 1951 Cub. Hoping to cross them over to Gates.
Thanks,
Mark

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

Mark, my manual shows for serial # 165152 (early 1953) and below
Gen 351321R1 = Gates Carquest 6821
Fan 251428R1 = Gates/Carquest TR24308
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!

:?: HMmmm, I was going by my O.E.M. catalog which says,

Generator belt# (351321R1) for Cub up to serial# _16152_

AND Generator belt# (107671C1) for Cub serial# _16153_ up, Lo-Boy.

Kinda confusing if the later number is for Lo-Boy only or both.

My 48 sporting S/N 36275 Cub generator has a I-H numbered belt 351321-R1 on it. SO :?:
