'48 Cob Project: Teardown continues

Postby F-I-T » Sun Aug 08, 2004 7:50 pm

Well, everywhere I find rust. Over, under, and now IN things. Looks like I'll have to tear the tranny down as well, but I had planned on that anyway.

The platform area is pretty rusted. The brake shafts are giving me some trouble, so they're soaking in some PB Blaster and can wait until next weekend. Then they'll get the torch and probably the impact hammer.

So, I'm getting close to half-a-cub!
