Postby HART » Sat Aug 07, 2004 2:30 pm

POSTED THIS BEFORE... GUESS IT DID'NT GO THROUGH.... IF I RUN ALMOST MAXIMUM SPEED, IN 2ND. GEAR, IS THERE A DANGER OF BLOWING ENGINE OR SOME OTHER HARM? IF I DO THIS, SHOULD I BACK IT OFF A LITTLE ON THROTTLE OCCASIONALLY.

YEARS AND YEARS AGO, MY WIFE DROVE CAR MAX. SPEED GOING TO CALIF. AND THREW SEVERAL RODS . I "PROMISE" TO TAKE YOUR ADVICE !!

Hart - I answered this below. The cub C 60 engine will run at full throttle all day long with no problems.

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.

My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

To expand a little, the governor limits your engine speed to 1800 rpm (if that's what it's set for) no matter what gear your in, so run it at whatever throttle setting you want in whatever gear you want.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
