POSTED THIS BEFORE... GUESS IT DID'NT GO THROUGH.... IF I RUN ALMOST MAXIMUM SPEED, IN 2ND. GEAR, IS THERE A DANGER OF BLOWING ENGINE OR SOME OTHER HARM? IF I DO THIS, SHOULD I BACK IT OFF A LITTLE ON THROTTLE OCCASIONALLY.
YEARS AND YEARS AGO, MY WIFE DROVE CAR MAX. SPEED GOING TO CALIF. AND THREW SEVERAL RODS . I "PROMISE" TO TAKE YOUR ADVICE !!

Hart - I answered this below. The cub C 60 engine will run at full throttle all day long with no problems.
