I vote undecided. That's a choice on the pending primary election ballot.

My answer would depend on how I could make the most money - the fastest - easiest - cheapest method on the Cub.
I have an excuse. CRS.

Ralph, Sell it for big money. I was offered one yesterday, with a chipped gear in the tranny, for $3400. No mower.Told me it's a good deal, worth $6000, if perfect. I should have offered to replace the tranny gear for a good deal, only $1000. Ed

Ok Ralph, Here's the way you handle this situation....... First sell the 154 for Big Money to Redman and include the pit helment and maybe even Flamey too, from last year's Cub Tug.

Then take the money and and re-invest it in the Flat Face 75 :tractor: (iffin you still have it in one piece???) With a little tweakin that Cub will be a formatible opponent for anyone come Tug-Time in July :!: I know I'm probably gonna cause myself some greif at Cub-Tug by suggesting this but ...what are friends for

Ron
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

Okay, here's the deal. Send it to Florida to me. I'll paint it orange and blue and if the Cub Tug is in Ohio, I'm sure to win. You get the line from Vegas, bet on the Gator Cub and win a bundle.  :P

I voted to knock it in the head. Ralph, do you get a ton of calls for 154 parts or mainly Cub and loboy parts? That would influence a decision in a big way...

So what number is this 154? Are you up to #70 yet?

front tires

Postby kencombs » Mon Jan 28, 2008 9:35 am

I voted 'knock it in the head' (funny, that is what my dad used to say about cars in his salvage), because I need front tires and wheels for a Mitsubishi tractor project.
