carburator float problems

Postby killornchad » Tue Jun 08, 2004 12:16 pm

I need a float for a 53 cub. I already went to case and they have an updated carb for it, but I would like to keep it original. Also there used to be a website that sold the floats wegner or something like that.

If you have the old float, small holes can usually be soldered, if the float is in decent shape.

True,, but make sure you get all the gas out of the float first, other-wise you have a flaming projectile!! Ask me how I know.
