The engine kit I ordered from JPs was delivered by FedEx yesterday and I could'nt be happier. It is already primered and ready for paint. Complete with camshaft and valves installed. The idler pulley was also included. New pistons, rings and rods come with the kit but not installed. For $475 you can not beat it! John Jr. even found me a 1948 casting coded block.
This option was half the price that the local machine shop quoted me.
The crank & head are also back from the machine shop so I will be busy this week putting it back together.
The people at JPs are the best!
