Postby harryo » Sun May 16, 2004 9:19 pm

i just bought a 1961 (g) cub lowboy for parts(it was in a fire) when i stripped some of the parts down the bottom paint color was yellow, the parts (g) match the rest of the cub(G). i read on this site somewhere that they didnt chang the color from red to yellow untill 1963. so why is thus yellow??

At that time, Cubs were available in either red or yellow. It was a regular production option.

Cubs sould throught he industial division were also yellow, although somewhat different.
