Did any one else see the description that this guy placed on his "hitch extension?" eBay sure is great for morning laughs. I think that if we weren't so obsessed with these red machines that we may call these people metal artists. Or maybe lawyers.

Working on tractors is a true test of one's ability to balance patience and temper.

Well, there's education and then there's learning. Education is great, but it ain't everything! A prime example was given in a recent newspaper article featuring a plow day. A fellow with 3 advanced degrees was being taught how to plow by a gentleman with a 10th grade education. By the time they were finished, a bond of friendship was formed. I read several discussion forums and it strikes me funny sometimes that guys will buy a tractor and plow or other implements and not have a clue as to what the intended use is. But what really matters is that the common bond between two vastly different lifestyles is old iron. Proof that even an educated man can be taught something useful.

I wonder if he recorded the amount of "bow" he straightened. The buyer may need to know to repair it back to what it is supposed to be.

I wonder if he knows the difference between a bow and a bend!!! Looks like it was heated in a pretty small area.

Somebody really ought to send him an email enlightening him on this destroyed drawbar.... it might save him further embarassment?
Also, who ever sends the email might want to indicate to him what it is worth, taking into consideration what it will take to put it back to its proper form......
can't be me, I never got the couth course in the navy! retired before then.
