KUB KLIPPER

Postby LARRY BALL » Mon Apr 19, 2004 3:11 pm

I HAVE A IH "KUB KLIPPER" BELLY MOWER MOUNTED ON "ELVIRA". LOOKS TO BE A 42" CUT. I USED IT QUITE A BIT THIS WEEK-END, ALL DAY SATURDAY CUT LIKE A CHARM. BUT SUNDAY COULD NOT KEEP THE BELT ON. I DON'T THINK THE BELT IS CORRECT. IT RIDES TOO DEEP IN THE PULLEYS AND SEEMS TO HAVE QUITE A BIT OF "DEFLECTION" AND THE BELT WANTS TO ROLL. AFTER CUTTING SATURDAY YOU COULD BARELY TELL THE TOP FROM THE BOTTOM. ANYONE HAVE A IH PARTS CATALOG WITH BELT DIMENSION OR PART# 8) 8) 8)
REGARDS,
LARRY

Kub Klipper was an aftermarket, not an IH item. I have this name and phone number filed as a parts source.
Artsway, ph. # 712-864-3131

Larry:

If it is a C-2, then go to the server. The C-2 Owner's Manual is there under Cub Implements, The MR-5 Mower Parts Manual is under Parts Manuals. I would think all you need is there!

Hope this helps

If it is a C-2 mower on a standard Cub without Fast-Hitch, the number is 477 180 R1.

21/32 wide, 138 51/64 long, 13/32 deep.
