Hello cub stars
I rode The Monk over to my neighbor's house yesterday on the other side of the canyon. The driveway is long and very steep.
When we got back home I noticed oil was dripping (4 or 5 drops) from the round inspection plate cover. The cover is on good and tight and seems to fit well. I don't think there was supposed to be a gasket here
Two more drops came out overnight. Is this any problem
Could the leak have come from going up that long steep drive
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
That cover isn't intended to keep anything in... it's supposed to keep the critters out. It's entirely possible the leakage was from accumulated oil inside the torque tube. This is normal, especially if you have any of the original seals. At this point, don't worry about it, but make sure your levels stay where they belong. That oil may have laid there in the torque tube for a long time until you were on enough of a grade for it to run out.
It often happens when tractors are on loading ramps.
