When I took 49-1 apart I noticed a spring between the 2 pivot points on the throw-out bearing yoke. I didn't see this on the 55 or in the parts manual. It appears that the spring is used to keep tension at the pivot points.
And the question is:
Is that spring supposed to be there and is it really needed
I have 1 with and 1 without.
