Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers

Postby Bigdog » Tue Sep 25, 2007 6:56 pm

My aunt slipped quietly from this world this morning. Her kidneys shut down and she passed quietly before any decisions concerning life support had to be made. I am thankful for that.
I thank you all for your support.

I'm sorry and happy for you at the same time BD. You'll still need prayers for the paperwork and settling that is to come. I'm on it.

Darrell,
Our prayers go out to the whole family during this time of loss.

Ron & Paula Whiting
I bought an old tractor all dusty and worn,
knew nothing about her just the year she was born
I washed her and greased her and painted her red
Now she lives happily right here in my shed.

None of us know what the Lord's plan for us is.. we just have to have faith that HE does know what He is doing. If I may, This passage has always given me not just hope but the Peace we all need especially in times of grief. I think it is Numbers 6:11

May the Lord Bless you and Keep You.
May the Lord Make His Countenance Shine Down Upon You and Give you Peace (+)

Peace to you and yours during this time of bereavement. I know that she is in the arms of the Lord and has gone home to continue the rest of her journey. OUr sincerest condolences to you and your family.

Darrell, so sorry to hear the sad news. Be thankful she didn't suffer too long, and now she is in a better place. My thoughts go out to you and your family.

So sorry to hear that, Bigdog, it's always hard to give up loved ones. But, when we consider, and know, what some of our other friends and loved ones have had to go through, sometimes this way it just seems to be a blessing, no pain, no suffering, on her part, but it still isn't easy on the ones left behind. Our thoughts and prayers are with you, and her family. Pete

Hi Big Dog and Ms Janet,

We are saddened to learn of your loss and will be thinking of you and your family. It is comforting to know that she went quietly. However, this does not lessen the loss to the family. On the other hand You do have the good times with "Aunt" to remember for all times.
