crankshaft pulley install

Postby dw » Tue Jul 31, 2007 9:52 pm

What is the correct way of installing a pulley on a c123 that is a swedge fit, without beating it on and damaging the crank??? Can't use heat , it will melt the front seal. :? :?

service manuals say to place it in boiling water for several minutes. If it has a threaded center hole, sue a piece of threaded rod, with some spacers to pull it on.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
