The 154 I'm working on has a Zenith carb, same one found on the As through 140s. Is this right? The carb flange is quite a bit larger than the manifold. It doesn't look right.

Brian, the Zenith carb mounting flange will be larger than the mainifold flange. Be sure that the carb throttle plate dosn't bind on the intake inside the manifold when it is bolted up. My experiance in the past is I had to find the sweet spot as I bolted it up
As for the carb The Zenith carbs were designed with 2 bolt centers and from and will fit several of the manufactures engines.
